THE PIANIST
Peter GUINNESS and Mikhail RUDY

Mikhail Rudy created a theater and music work, based upon the extraordinary story of the Polish pianist Wladiyslaw Szpilman who survived the Nazi occupation in Warsaw. With the actors Robin Renucci or Peter Guiness enacting the role of Szpilman, Mikhail staged passages from Szpilman’s book and played inserted works by Chopin and Szpilman. This project had great international success and was staged more than 300 times in 5 languages in 12 different countries.
