SCRIABIN PROMETHEUS
Mikhail RUDY, Ian PACE and AROTIN & SERGHEI

Prometheus, The Poem of Fire is a visionary work by Scriabin which, for the first time ever, includes light and colours in the musical score. Written in 1910, as it explored adventurous unknown domains, the work looked like utopia, given the technical means of the time. In this new project Mikhail Rudy collaborates with two extraordinary Viennese visual artists, Arotin & Serghei. In this spectacular contemporary version, a true symphony of colours and forms comes to life. Mikhail plays Prometheus in a rare transcription of Sabaneiev (close to Scriabin) commissioned by the Beyerler Foundation, as well as Vers la flamme, indisputably Scriabin’s most prophetic work.
